| The finish on the cabinets is very detailed. The back cabs were done in alder with a dark walnut stain, black glaze, gold highlight and deeply distressed. The island was done in a off white paint with a crackle finish and 4 levels of brown glaze, also deeply distressed. The Stone: Juperana Meriviligio, antiqued/leathered Edge: laminated chiseled Back counters: Creme Marfil, antiqued with laminated OGee edge The floor is antiqued, brushed golden sand marble which mimics travertine but has some very unique crystallizing through out. | You can see from the before pic that we really opened up the doorway from the kitchen to the pantry area into the formal dining. It was just a small 28" opening that really closed this area in. We opened it up and arched it and it made a world of difference. I added another window in the kitchen sink area which brought in a lot more natural light. This kitchen has all the luxuries though you can't see them i.e. warming drawer in island, refer drawer in island. The tall floor to ceiling cab at end of sink run is a coffee cab with crema Marfil inside with a finished backsplash of crema Marfil. |
